Interpretation experiencing music

One of the few generally acknowledged features of music in Chibale is that the physical nearness of music heightens its effectiveness or that of the occasion at which it is used.

A central concept in Chibale life is maka, the physical and spiritual strength to do something difficult or to overcome trouble. How is this related to music and the way music is experienced?

Two central, interrelated concepts: mano and mutima, wisdom and heart, are related to the contexts of music and the experiencing of music.

Sorrow and joy are the only two types of feelings experienced while listening to music in Chibale. What is behind this limitation to only two types of feelings?
